It has been another great week.
We started off with errands on Monday, CBS on Tuesday, another great coffee club Wednesday and more CBS tomorrow. We mustered up the courage for homemade Chicken and Dumplings and it was so worth it. This weekend we are to hunt for Little Robert's 2nd Halloween costume and enjoy Dad being back from out of town. If I am disciplined I can get Little Robert's stepping stool repainted, all of 2010 photos on Shutterfly our Halloween plans finalized.
It's fall and to kick it off...Thursday we will be enjoying Apple Pie Cupcakes.

Saturday at the Zoo
This past Saturday we thought we could take advantage of good weather and spend the morning at the Zoo. Turned out...it was HOT! Regardless, Robert had a blast. He loved seeing all of the animals, the train and sliding down the slide.

Robert gives Macy a bath
Robert was so excited to be in such close proximity to Macy for an extended period of time. He just kept pointing to her and saying her name over and over again. He even leaned in for a few kisses. Ignore the paint samples, the room is some day getting a redo.
Robert and the sprinklers
Robert hates water in his face but on Saturday while taking Macy out with Dad he seemed to change his mind. He had the best time running through and around them. He stopped for a quick visit with the cows and then wanted to go for a swim in his pool.

Robert video
Here is Robert showing off a few of his noises. He is a bit distracted by his sunglasses. Ignore the gigantic mess of toys and such-this was prior to cleanup time at our house.

This time last year...
It was a big month. Last September he had his first photo with Mr. Beck and sat at the table for family dinner.
Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Pasta
I have a thing for crock pot dishes if you can't tell. Here is another one we tried this week. It is from Memories On Clover Lane. Sarah is one cool Mom.
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
She also added some sort of lemon something. I didn't.
1 tsp. garlic powder -I used garlic salt on accident.
6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
10 oz. cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth (I use chicken broth, it's always in the pantry)
1/2 # fresh mushrooms, sliced
Cook on High for 5 hours.

Robert and the Yellow Car
Robert has a Yellow Car that he loves. He loves to make Car noises and drive it all over the walls and especially Macy. Side note: I do ask" what does the gator do?" way to many times. Double side note: he does an awesome gator chomp.
Robert Praying
This isn't really the start to finish. I just happened to catch him breaking into prayer. Usually he says a rambled form of "pray to God" and then starts right in mumbling.

Playing with Ryland
Ryland came for a quick visit and they boys had a great time. Ryland needed to eat lunch first and Robert was not very happy about it. He really wanted Ryland to play toys.
