Christmas Card

We sent out family Christmas cards this year and had quite the experience trying to get a decent photo. Here are just a few of the many we took. In being honest, we took several batches on several different days. We had grand plans but after about 200 our only goal was to have everyone looking in the same direction.

Here is the card (I ran out of family photos):

My oven

Rather than blogging I should be mopping. Blogging is just way more fun. In fact, most things are more fun than mopping.

Robert's fast asleep, R is at a Jags game and I am being serenaded by "Your the one I love" by David Grey, in addition to the dishwasher and Robert's lullaby tunes. One thing I have learned lately- you can never have to much noise. Oh, and I can't forget Macy whining at the door for the third time in 15 minutes. No worries, she doesn't have to go.

At first glance this is an oven. A nice oven. Before Robert we used it to bake, cook and the drawer was to warm things. These days it looks like this:

It is full of all sorts of anything Robert wants to store in there. He is going to make a good engineer.

Macy and Robert

Christmas and crackers

Robert's toy chest came Friday and he loves his new pull up station. We love anything we can hide his toys in.

We started the tree Saturday and all of the decorations that come with it. Robby hung the lights outside Sunday while Robert supervised from the stroller. Robert is still working on walking. He can pull himself up and take steps but still holds on. He still LOVES his organic yogurt and is now really into graham crackers. Macy is also excited about the cracker stage- Robert feeds her often. Robert is also almost a pro at his pincher fingers.

The tree before and after (minus the ornaments).

The Roberts' had some good time snuggling on the couch with clothespins while watching football.

We can't wait for Santa!

Da-da

I took this one night while I was feeding Robert dinner. He loves to eat and talk. He doesn't enjoy eating and sneezing though. The other night he took a bite of peas and then sneezed. He screamed after.

Robert and the drawer

Tomorrow Robert turns 8 months. I took this video about a month back and boy have things changed. He could careless about opening and closing a drawer (I found him doing this all by himself) these days. He loves to open them and put as many things as he can in them and then pull them all the way out and use them to stand up on. He has been crawling now for a month and takes off as fast as he can. He is also very good at "Da Da" and lots of babbling. His new favorite is giving us heart failure as he pulls up on everything and anything he can get himself up on. He still loves Macy, avoiding sleep, tearing things up, kisses, hugs, his bath, putting things in his mouth, eating, laughing and waking up early. He is eating around 16-24 ounces of food and drinking about 25-30 ounces of milk. Last weight check was 3 weeks ago and he was at 18lbs 9 oz.

First trip to swing!

I took Robert to story time and then after we made it to the park. It was his first trip and he went with his friend J. He was extremely confused at first and after a few minutes started to enjoy it.

Robert at the pumkin patch

We had Robert scheduled to have his picture made but was in no mood for it the day before so we cancelled and took a few of our own when we picked up our pumpkins.

Robert's First Halloween

Robert hadn't slept much that day so at costume time he was not very excited. We dressed him up and had a few pictures before he had had enough.

Here's a look at last Halloween (pre-Robert):

Ronald, The Blue Moon and Drool.

Robert caught his first cold this week and we enjoied some quite time with Fox news and his toys. He seems to be feeling better, isn't running a temperature and looks to be almost over it.

His first picture with Mr. Beck:

His excited face (with drool):

The impossible took place. I actually caught him and couldn't take the picture fast enough. Robert feel asleep in the jungle! There must have been a blue moon somewhere.

Robert turns 6 months tomorrow- marking two very big events. First, he has been here for half of a year and second, he is 6 months away from the best 1st birthday party e-v-e-r.

A week in review...

Monday was Publix and dry cleaning as usual, Tuesday we played all day, Wednesday we loaded up on Diapers, Thursday we celebrated 3 years (Robby and I) and Friday we had our 4 month check-up. It is so hard to believe it has been 3 years. There have been three addresses, one mortgage, 3 cars, one adorable baby, one crazy Macy dog, passing the Bar, big vacations new jobs, lots of praying, laughing and growing.
Most recent picture I could find (from last summer:) Robert's secretly in the picture)
